My name is Myesha Dunn and I am the owner of Restoration Counseling & Consulting. I am a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist. I am a wife, mother, daughter and friend. It was in college that I realized I had many unresolved issues from my past. With God being my source, therapy became a resource and I began a journey of self-discovery that lead me to inner healing and restoration. It would be my privilege to walk beside you on your journey to restoration.

My name is Kufreabasi Idiong and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with Restoration Counseling & Consulting.
I believe in the importance of joining with my client to focus on relationship building as the primary foundation for effective care. Whether you are looking to address big life changes, relationship issues, trauma symptoms, cultural concerns, and/or addictive behaviors, we will work as a team to find a therapeutic plan that best meets your specific needs.
I am nontraditional in my approach and believe in treating each client from a place of individuality. I am formally trained in CPT, EMDR, DBT, CBT, Crisis Intervention, and Solution Oriented therapy. My clients often describe me as an easy to talk to, yet professional therapist, with a non-judgmental, direct style. It would be a privilege to support you.

God made us complete and has given us everything we need to heal and be restored from mental & emotional pain. Restoration Counseling works to create a safe and empowering space that will allow folks to connect to themselves and God in the most meaningful ways in order to access healing and restoration. Yes Restoration lives in us! We were created with a regenerative property. Like a plant that has tarnished, given a healthy and nourishing environment, soil, sunlight, water and oxygen can be restored, SO CAN WE! Restoration Counseling provides a healthy and nourishing space that can allow folks pain to produce the fruit of a restored life!
ABOUT RESTORATION THERAPY
Restorative Nutrients - Just like a wounded plant needs certain nutrients to be restored we too need the proper nutrients to be restored. Restoration Counseling focusses on the spiritual, soul and social nutrients that are needed to be restored from the root.

CONSULTATION SERVICES
Educate, Empower & Equip
Restoration Counseling believes in partnering with groups and organizations to empower and equip them with education, tools and resources to meet mental health needs on a mass level. Restoration Counseling is especially called to partner with Black faith leaders and churches to support their goals to heal the whole person. This work is done through seminars, workshops and trainings on various mental health topics that can also be crafted to address the specific needs of most groups.

Consultation with organizations and groups to strategize about how to best meet the mental health needs of the people within that organization or group
W.I.S.E. Lay Counseling Training - Training and consulting with church leaders about how to equip their church to meet the mental health needs of their congregation
Cash, debit and all major credit cards are accepted for payment. No insurance is accepted at this time. A credit or debit card will be required to retain your appointments on the schedule and will be charged within 24 hours of your session ending. A credit card or debit card will be required for those paying cash in the event of a missed session or a late cancellation that card will be charged. If you are more than 15 min late on a consistent basis a late fee will apply at Restoration Counseling discretion. If you do not show up for your scheduled appointment, and you have not notified Restoration Counseling within 24 hours of your session, your card on file will be charged the full rate of your scheduled session.

Restoration Counseling and Consulting will partner with a black church ministry to provide basic mental health and wellness consultation that can guide them in giving effective and wise counsel to members in emotional and mental distress. The retainer service will include:

W.I.S.E. LAY COUNSELING TRAINING
Equipping, Empowering and Educating the Black Church!
A 7-hour basic training that will introduce attendees to he W.I.S.E Lay Counseling Model. This model will provide basic lay counseling skills to be used in a church/ministry setting in order to establish or enhance one’s counseling skills. The training is for pastors, church leaders and lay persons who feel passionate about helping people with the spiritual and mental and emotional effects from the challenges of life. Participants who complete the training program will be equipped to develop or enhance a counseling ministry within their church
